Something Bad Happened Here By Travis Eller

A missing wife and a tragic shooting forces the alcoholic John Boyle to stay behind as the last remaining residents leave this dying, practically dead, town. Faced with heavy guilt and depression, John is forced to share his time in this new ghost town with the young Mary who saw her mother accidentally shot by John in a botched bank robbery. To make matters worse Mary has decided to stay behind because she received word that her father is coming back after spending some time in jail. In a matter of days dangerous outlaws and strangers visit the lawless streets of the town forcing John and Mary to work together. John can only wait, hoping his wife returns before Mary's outlaw father arrives and guns him down in a fit of rage.
