Sarah Kennedy
Sarah left a career as an executive speech writer and communications strategist for a Fortune 5 company to raise children and care for elderly parents. A lifelong learner, she pursued graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary before family became her full-time calling. Seminary opened Sarah’s eyes to shared human experiences of suffering and the restorative power of hope, themes that often underpin her writings. Now an empty nester, Sarah has become a prolific screenwriter with six features, 10 shorts, and two seasons of an audio podcast completed in the span of just over two years. Many of her projects have won multiple awards. She feels there are important stories that need to be told and that film is the ultimate canvas. When she’s not writing, Sarah enjoys being with family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and getting lost in a good show.
