Shadow C. LaValley

Shadow C. LaValley is a product of central New York upbringing. As a child growing up in the middle of nowhere central New York, Shadow found himself learning the ways of a “hard day’s work.” As a result, Shadow’s work ethic has excelled throughout the years. He comes from a humble way of life where simplicity reigns supreme. Once graduated from high school, he worked blue collar jobs such as factory work, service industry work, and the like.

After attempting to pursue his passion for stock car racing in North Carolina, he moved back home to central New York to help his Mother take care of his Mimay during her final years of life. It was during this time that Shadow fell in love with the art of acting and decided to change careers and pursue acting. Knowing nothing about the craft, he dove right in and started performing in local film productions as well as local theatre. Knowing that he was missing something, he decided to go back to college to study theatre. He graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta (SUNY Oneonta) with a bachelor's degree in theatre. The same university where Bill Pullman once studied.

Shadow finally joined SAG-AFTRA in June of 2019, and a few short months later, the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world. Effectively shutting down his career. Not knowing how to move forward and getting no real audition opportunities, Shadow decided to start writing and producing his own works. Having written and produced a live action short film and a feature film back in central New York before moving to Los Angeles, Shadow looked to get back into writing and producing. He wrote, produced, directed, and starred in two live action short films titled Dark Winter and The Can. During this time, off a dream he had one night in May of 2021, Shadow received the inspiration to write the two-part sci-fi action adventure titled Roadrunner Part I & II. He also wrote the six episode television sitcom (pilot included) titled Dinner Shift.

While Shadow continues to pursue a career as an actor, he continues to write screenplays. He is currently writing a Hallmark/Christmas style feature film titled All Outdoors.
